1. Overview
This Refund Policy applies to all Merchants (Developers) and Advertisers who register and use
the SaylorPay platform. By signing up as a Merchant (Developer) or
Advertiser, you agree to this Refund Policy as a binding part of your agreement
with SaylorPay.
Important:
This policy does not apply to regular App Users, as SaylorPay does
not process or hold funds for personal transactions.
2. Account Funding Policy
When registering as a Merchant (Developer) or Advertiser on
the SaylorPay platform:
- You
are required to preload funds into your SaylorPay dashboard wallet
before you can use our service as the case may be
- These
funds are credited to your account balance and are used
for:
- USSD
API call charges (for Merchants (Developers))
- Ad
placements (for Advertisers)
- Or
Both of the above
Important:
SaylorPay operates on a prepaid, credit-based system - meaning
you must have sufficient balance in your account before accessing Our API
services or placing ads.
3. No Refunds Policy
All funds deposited into your SaylorPay account dashboard
are strictly non-refundable.
This applies in the following cases:
- Merchant
(Developer) Wallet:
Funds loaded to cover API call charges are non-refundable and can be used for making USSD automation API requests. If the merchant (developer) is also an advertiser, deposited funds can also be used to cover ad placements as well. - Advertiser
Wallet:
Funds deposited for advertising purposes are non-refundable and can be used for ad placements within the SaylorPay app. If the advertiser is also a merchant (developer), deposited funds can also be used to cover API requests as well.
4. Why Are Deposits Non-Refundable?
SaylorPay operates on a usage-based, prepaid model:
- API
calls for USSD automation are billed per request/call, and the respective amounts deducted instantly
from your Merchant (Developer) wallet.
- Ad
placements are billed per display impression, and deducted
from your Advertiser wallet.
- We
reserve account balances to maintain uninterrupted access to our systems,
ad inventory, and ensure seamless transaction processing.
As such, refunds are not possible once funds have been
credited to your dashboard.
5. Use of Account Balances
- Merchants (Developers):
You may use your account balance to cover fees for USSD API calls made through the SaylorPay system. If you as a merchant (developer) are also an advertiser, you can use your account balance to cover ad placement charges. - Advertisers:
You may use your account balance to pay for ads placed on the SaylorPay app. If you are also a merchant, you can use balance to cover fees for USSD API calls
6. Disputes and Support
If you believe:
- You
have been wrongly charged
- An API
call was not executed
- An ad
was not properly displayed

working days of the transaction.
While refunds are not offered, we may, at our sole discretion:
- Re-credit
your account balance where errors are verified.
- Correct service issues and ensure proper delivery of services paid for.
7. Termination and Unused Balances
In the event of account termination or suspension:
- Any
remaining balance on your Merchant (Developer) or Advertiser
dashboard is non-refundable.
- You are encouraged to use up your balance before closing your account.
8. Policy Changes
SaylorPay reserves the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Updates will be communicated via our website.
