SaylorPay is a dual-offering platform consisting of a mobile app and a merchant API service. The mobile app automates USSD dialing, making it easy for users to send money, buy airtime and data bundle, transfer funds, make payments, initiate self-transfers and check balances across different service providers/networks. The merchant API service allows merchants (developers) to integrate this USSD automation capability into their websites, online stores or apps, enabling seamless payment transactions without using a traditional payment gateway.
For regular users, the SaylorPay app uses an auto USSD dialer that simplifies transactions like airtime and data purchase, money transfer and withdrawal, and balance checks. For merchants, our API connects their websites, online stores or apps to the user's SaylorPay app and the phones USSD environment. When a customer initiates a mobile money payment, our app automatically dials the relevant USSD code and processes the transaction up to the point where the customer enters their PIN.
