How To Send Money From MTN Number To An MTN Merchant ID Using SaylorPay

Need to pay an MTN merchant?
With SaylorPay, you can send money to any MTN Merchant in under 30 seconds - no need to dial any USSD codes manually.

Important Note:
Currently, only MTN and Telecel numbers can send money to MTN Merchant IDs.

Here’s a step-by-step guide to completing the process with ease:

            Step 1: Open the SaylorPay App

Step 2: Select Your Sending Network

Select “MTN” as the network to send money from.

            Step 3: Select “Merchant ID / TILL”

            Tap the downward-facing arrow and select “Merchant ID / TILL” as the payment type.

            MTN is by default the selected network

Step 4: Enter the Merchant ID

Input the MTN Merchant ID to send money to.

            Step 5: Enter the Amount

            Input the amount you wish to send.

Step 6: Add a Reference

You can:

• Type a custom reference manually, or
• Tick the “Auto-generate reference” box to let SaylorPay generate a reference automatically for you every time.

            Step 7: Send the Money

Step 8: Enter Your Mobile Money PIN

When prompted, enter your Mobile Money PIN to authorize and complete the transfer.
