Follow this simple guide to buy airtime for others on Telecel using the SaylorPay app:

            Step 1: Launch the SaylorPay App

Step 2: Select the Network

Choose “Telecel” as the network you want to purchase airtime from.

            Step 3: Choose the Correct Transfer Option

            Tap the downward-facing arrow to select the appropriate option:

•             Telecel to Telecel - if you are buying airtime for a Telecel number.
•             Telecel to Other Networks - if you are buying airtime for an MTN or AirtelTigo number.

Step 4: Enter or Select the Recipient’s Phone Number

• Manually input the recipient’s phone number or
• Select the number directly from your phonebook.

Important Note on Ported SIMs:

SaylorPay automatically detects the mobile network of the number you enter based on standard network prefixes:

• MTN: 053, 054, 055, 059, 024, 025
• Telecel: 020, 050
• AirtelTigo (Glo Ghana inclusive): 026, 027, 056, 057, 023

If the number has been ported to a different network, you must manually reselect the appropriate transfer option.

Examples:

If a number starts with “050” or “020”, SaylorPay will automatically select Telecel to Telecel.

So, if that number has been ported to MTN or AirtelTigo, you need to manually reselect Telecel to Other Networks to avoid transaction errors.

In the same sense, if a number starts with an AirtelTigo or MTN prefix, SaylorPay will automatically select Telecel to Other Networks.

So, if that number has been ported to Telecel, you need to manually reselect Telecel to Telecel before proceeding.

            Step 5: Enter the Amount

            Enter the amount of airtime you wish to purchase.

Step 6: Confirm and Complete the Purchase

            Step 7: Enter Your Mobile Money PIN

            When prompted, enter you PIN to authorize and finalize the airtime purchase.
